Privacy policy

This policy explains how Freedom Sun, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses and protects your personal information. It applies to every brand we run and to every payment we take through Stripe, whichever brand you bought from.

Some brands add their own details. SimoneCR and Calm Money Kids each have a privacy page with the details that only apply to that brand, such as the app data Calm Money Kids keeps for your family. Women's Money Society's details are on this page, in the section below. If a brand's policy says something more specific than this one, the brand's policy applies to that brand.

Who we are

Freedom Sun, LLC is the company behind Calm Money Kids, SimoneCR and Women's Money Society. For any privacy question or request, about any of our brands, email hello@freedomsun.co.

What we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address and anything else you enter when you sign up, fill in a form, create an account or contact us.
  • Purchase and billing details: what you bought, the price, your billing dates, your billing country and, for a subscription, whether it is active. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Usage information: basic information about how you use our websites and apps, such as pages visited, the device and browser you use, and your approximate location from your IP address.

How we use it

  • To provide what you bought or signed up for, and to give you access to it
  • To process payments, send receipts and manage subscriptions, including reminders about renewals and failed payments
  • To reply to you and help with any problem
  • To send emails you have signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • To understand how our websites and apps are used and improve them
  • To prevent fraud and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising across other companies' sites, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.

Legal basis (for people in the EU and UK)

We process your information because it is needed to provide something you have asked for, because you have given consent (for example, to receive emails), because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business, or because the law requires it. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need. These include our payment processor (Stripe), our website and app hosting (Vercel), our database and sign-in provider (Supabase), our CRM and email platforms (GoHighLevel and Resend), video call tools such as Zoom or Google Meet, and WhatsApp, which hosts the Women's Money Society community. Each brand's own policy lists the providers that brand uses.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or with a buyer if a brand or the company is ever sold, in which case this policy will continue to protect your information.

International transfers

Freedom Sun, LLC is a US company, and some of our providers store data in the United States and other countries. Where information is transferred out of the EU or UK, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses or other approved safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you are a customer, member or subscriber, and afterwards only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Payment and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. California residents can ask what we collect and request deletion, and we will not treat you differently for asking. To make a request, email hello@freedomsun.co and tell us which brand you used. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Women's Money Society

Women's Money Society is a membership run by Freedom Sun, LLC at womensmoneysociety.com. This section explains what we keep for members, in addition to everything above.

  • Your membership: when you join, Stripe handles your payment and tells us when your membership starts, changes or ends, so that we can give you access and remove it again when you leave.
  • Your contact record: your name, email address and membership status are kept in our CRM (GoHighLevel). The answers you give in the welcome survey are saved as a note on that record, so that your calls can start with your real situation.
  • Live calls: calls are recorded so that members who could not attend can watch afterwards. If you would prefer not to appear in a recording, keep your camera off and tell us, and we will leave your question out of the replay.
  • The Business Lounge: the member community runs on WhatsApp. When you join it, other members can see your WhatsApp name, profile photo and phone number, and anything you post there. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its own privacy policy covers how WhatsApp handles your information. What another member shares stays inside the community.

Children

Our products are bought and used by adults. Calm Money Kids is made for parents, and children never need an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13, or under 16 in the EU and UK. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Cookies

Our websites use only the cookies and similar technologies needed to run them and, where you allow it, to understand how they are used. Checkout, booking and form pages run by our providers may set their own cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will tell customers by email about any significant change before it takes effect.
